I must talk about copper. I actually use a pure, copper water bottle. I put living, spring water in the bottle at night and drink it when I rise.
Copper has been a natural remedy for thousands of years. Many people store water in copper vessels to stop the growth of bacteria, fungi, and viruses. Copper is powerful because harmful bacteria cannot live on a copper surface for more than a few hours. When water is stored in a copper vessel for at least 8 hours, it fuses its healing nature with the water and shares this with your body when you drink it.
The vessel also helps alkaline water and restore its structure. This can be done with silver too, but “real” silver bottles and cups can get pretty expensive. Copper is just as good, and it is very affordable.
Copper Has a Host of Benefits
Copper helps your body create red blood cells, which keeps your immune system healthy. It also assists in creating collagen, which is needed for healthy skin and tissue regeneration, gum health, and other things. Drinking out of a copper vessel might help with the following:
- promotes healthy blood circulation
- helps liver disease
- decreases the acidity in your body
- prevents and treats heart disease
- helps eliminate pimples & acne
- helps heal stomach disorders
- strengthens the uterus
- relieves gall bladder issues
- cures certain cancers
- can relieve joint pains
- heal eye diseases
- help alleviate bladder issues
Some natural health practitioners believe that all diseases can be cured by drinking copper infused water.
I can say that it really has relieved minor pain and discomfort with my menstrual cycle. When I drink copper infused water, my periods are pain-free and always regular.
There are a few ways to get more copper in your life. You do not have to buy a copper vessel or cup to benefit from this metal. For one, you can buy a copper bracelet or ring. The copper will still get on your skin and creep into your body, but I think drinking out of a vessel is more potent. You can also use copper cookware, and healthy amounts of copper will leach into your food, which will also heal your body. Though you must be careful. Unlined copper cookware could be dangerous if you cook acidic foods in it.
My mom complained about some pain she was having in her thumb. She said the doctor told her it was arthritis, so I bought her a copper bracelet. The pain in her thumb seems to be going away. So you can see just wearing it can do wonders.
I must say that only a small amount of copper is needed. And if you have certain imbalances, copper could actually aspirate the issue. So be sure to talk to your doctor before you incorporate this holistic practice into your life.
